Terms and conditions of site use and piece purchases.
These terms govern the use of the ARTE LAPIDEA site and the purchase of pieces through it. By using the site or making a purchase, you accept what is set out here.
About the pieces
Our pieces are handmade in natural stone. Every one is unique: veining, tones and minor inclusions are part of the material and are not considered defects. Images are representative and may show natural variations relative to the final piece.
Pricing and payments
Prices are shown in the currency indicated on the site and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. For made-to-order pieces, we typically take a 50% deposit upon confirmation and the balance before shipping.
Orders and confirmation
A purchase is confirmed once payment (or applicable deposit) is received. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in cases of obvious pricing or availability errors, or suspected fraud.
Delivery times
Timeframes are estimates and depend on the piece and destination. For made-to-order pieces, production time is communicated at confirmation. We are not responsible for courier or customs delays beyond our control.

Returns
Returns are handled on a case-by-case basis given the unique nature of each piece. Please contact us directly for any return request.
Intellectual property
All site content (text, photography, designs, trademarks) is the property of ARTE LAPIDEA or their rights holders. Reproduction is prohibited without written authorization.
Limitation of liability
We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages arising from improper use of the pieces. We recommend following the handling, installation and maintenance guidance we deliver with each piece.
Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Mexican law. Any dispute will be resolved before the competent courts in Mexico.
