The Process
From block to artwork: how our stone-sculpted pieces come to life.
Quarry selection
We visit the quarry ourselves to choose every block. We evaluate vein, tone, fissures and density. Only what meets our standards leaves the site.
Design
Design is a conversation with the material. Sometimes it starts on paper, sometimes in front of the block. We never force stone into a shape that isn't its own.
Rough shaping
We remove excess with cutting tools and pneumatic chisel. This is the most physical stage and the one that defines the overall volume.
Fine carving
Detail work: lines, curves, radii. Patient handwork, millimeter by millimeter, where the piece's character is decided.
Polishing and finishing
Depending on the piece we choose matte, satin or mirror polish. Each finish changes the way light behaves on the surface.
Inspection and packing
Final review, sealing appropriate to the stone type, and packing in structures designed to withstand domestic transport.
